Our affiliated contractors  know specifics when they accept a job.  They participate in the bid process.  TAD supports its contractors during the job.  We offer counseling if there is a bump in the road. We work through any differences that might arise between client and contractor.  TAD does a first edit on all ordered material before first delivery.  

        TAD doesn’t pretend to be able to read the customer’s mind.  He or she will make changes, but our goal is to be the extra set of eyes that avoids un-necessary and destructive potential frustrations.

Publications Work: 

The Assignment Desk accepts story assignments from many newspapers, magazines, newsletters, Internet providers and others.  We channel those stories to TAD partner/contactors.  TAD negotiates a rate for the article and takes a commission on the gross sale.

        Many times, Assignment Desk affiliates  have special story ideas they would like to see published.  In these cases, TAD serves as non-exclusive agent for the contractor.

     Story assignments are sold with limited publication rights.  Copyright remains with the author. 

Business Services:

        The Assignment Desk handles business for all projects.  TAD investigates clients to insure their ability to pay.  TAD contracts with clients and partners. TAD invoices in a timely manner, pursues early collection, and pays partners twice a month.   

        Separately,  The Assignment Desk makes accounting, marketing, legal, and other services available to its affiliate contractors.
